You have just stepped into the phenomenology of Joe Lategan as a photographic artist and content creator, where the entanglement of every visual essay, image, dish and journey are biopsychospiritual experiences as old as the universe itself and as new as life here after.  “As a photographer, restaurateur, and dedicated life observer, I am fuelled by a passion for capturing the beauty of our world, collecting and savouring its flavours on my photographic travels, and preserving its treasures for generations to come.

Through the lens of my camera, I seek to immortalize the fleeting moments of splendour that surround us – from the majestic landscapes of far-flung destinations to the intimate details of everyday life. Each photograph is a testament to the extraordinary in the ordinary, a celebration of the diverse tapestry of cultures, and a call to action to protect humans first and then our planet.

In my culinary pursuits, I merge artistry with sustainability, creating dishes that not only tantalize the taste buds but also honour the ingredients and the cultures and environment from which they are sourced.
